🌎 About the Role

Join one of the world’s most recognized tech innovators in shaping how global brands harness advertising and analytics technology to drive measurable growth.

As a Sales Specialist Manager, you’ll sit at the intersection of enterprise sales, marketing technology, and data-driven strategy, helping large-scale advertisers and agencies unlock the full potential of cutting-edge ad and analytics platforms.

You’ll collaborate with sales teams, marketers, and technical stakeholders to simplify complex technology, create value-based solutions, and support transformative conversations with senior leaders at Fortune 500 clients. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a high-performing, respected team within one of the most advanced organizations in the world—working in Toronto alongside some of the brightest minds in tech.

🚀 What You’ll Do

As a Sales Specialist Manager, you’ll:

  • Act as a trusted sales engineer and solution strategist, partnering with account executives to support enterprise clients across industries (finance, CPG, entertainment, retail, and more).
  • Design and deliver consultative presentations and demos that connect marketing technology capabilities with real-world business outcomes.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into accessible narratives for C-suite and senior marketing decision-makers.
  • Advise on cross-product integration — connecting ad tech, analytics, and cloud-based solutions to maximize value across a customer’s martech stack.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with global product and sales enablement teams to ensure client needs are met through best-in-class strategy and technical guidance.
  • Leverage data and analytics (Campaign Manager 360, Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, data warehouses, and clean rooms) to inform recommendations and highlight ROI opportunities.
  • Support pre-sales discovery and solutioning, working alongside sales to architect custom approaches for strategic customers.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and process improvement, acting as a go-to resource for your peers and the sales organization.

Who You Are

  • A consultative storyteller who can simplify the complex and build trust quickly with executive-level audiences.
  • Skilled at connecting business strategy and technology, and comfortable translating data-driven insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Technically conversant, but not a coder — you understand marketing analytics, ad technology, tag management, and data flows across cloud platforms.
  • Energized by collaboration, continuous learning, and solving diverse client challenges in a fast-moving, matrixed organization.
  • Self-motivated and autonomous — able to thrive in a hybrid setup and manage cross-border relationships effectively.

💡 What You Bring

✅ Professional Background

  • 6–10+ years in enterprise sales, pre-sales, or solutions consulting, ideally within ad tech, martech, or cloud/SaaS environments.
  • Prior experience in sales enablement, partner strategy, or sales engineering supporting complex technology solutions.
  • Exposure to large holding-company agencies (WPP, Omnicom, IPG, Publicis, Dentsu, Havas) or consultancies a strong plus.
  • Backgrounds in enterprise tech (e.g., Google, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, Salesforce, Adobe, Oracle, or similar) are especially valued.

✅ Technical Acumen

  • Understanding of digital media, programmatic advertising, and analytics platforms (Google Ads, Campaign Manager 360, Display & Video 360, Analytics 360, or comparable tools).
  • Awareness of data pipelines, clean rooms, and cloud integrations (Google Cloud, BigQuery, data warehouses).
  • Experience in using insights from data to shape marketing or sales strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency with tools such as Google Sheets/Excel, data visualization platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau), or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

✅ Soft Skills

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills — comfortable engaging with C-suite executives.
  • Curious, analytical, and adaptable mindset with a strong bias toward learning.
  • Strong organizational awareness: able to navigate large, matrixed environments gracefully.

🌟 Why You’ll Love It

  • Work alongside industry-leading teams at a globally admired technology company.
  • Contribute directly to digital innovation and customer success at enterprise scale.
  • Gain access to cutting-edge products, data, and insights shaping the future of advertising and business strategy.
  • Enjoy a collaborative, inclusive culture where curiosity, creativity, and initiative are valued.
  • Competitive compensation with potential for extension and long-term career growth opportunities within the global tech ecosystem.

🕓 Contract Details

  • Length: 12 months (extension likely based on performance and business need)
  • Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Pay Range: $60–$75/hour CAD (commensurate with experience)
  • Benefits: Aquent-provided health benefits, paid holidays, sick leave, and access to professional development resources
